Enterprise is 4-0 against Oroville since November of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Enterprise Hornets will take on the Oroville Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Enterprise will be strutting in after a victory while Oroville will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Enterprise made easy work of Fall River and carried off a 56-35 victory.
Enterprise's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eden Garnaas led the charge by scoring 13 points along with 5 assists. Another player making a difference was Tianna Lowe, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Oroville couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 38-29 to Durham on Tuesday.
Despite the defeat, Oroville had strong showings from Serenity Miller, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 steals, and Leila Jackson, who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals.
The win got Enterprise back to even at 1-1. As for Oroville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Enterprise beat Oroville 44-35 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Will Enterprise repeat their success, or does Oroville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
