Clear Creek waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Platte Canyon Huskies by a score of 3-1. For the Golddiggers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 19-25, 25-8.

Clear Creek's offense was headlined by Aerah Fulton and Kambrey Martin, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Kiera Ginter and her 14 assists. Elliot Dunbar controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Clear Creek now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Platte Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Clear Creek has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Lyons on the 8th. As for Platte Canyon, they will challenge Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Huskies' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
