Last Thursday, it was a hard-fought match, but Christian School of York had to settle for a 41-38 defeat against Veritas Academy.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Rylie Bell, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That was a full 60.5% of Christian School of York's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Cally Carpenter was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, High Point Baptist Academy can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 44-22 margin over Coventry Christian. The victory was just what High Point Baptist Academy needed coming off of a 59-23 defeat in their prior game.
Christian School of York's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for High Point Baptist Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
Christian School of York didn't have too much breathing room in their match against High Point Baptist Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 49-43 victory.
