Rancho Christian are taking a road trip to challenge Valley View at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Rancho Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last 19 games.
Rancho Christian barely beat Citrus Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Hawks 14-1 on Friday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Cody Horner made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, Rancho Christian got a massive performance out of Sean Downs, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Sam Kinard also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.
Rancho Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Citrus Hill only posted an OBP of .174.
Meanwhile, Valley View beat Orange Vista 14-9 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Coyotes: they've now won three in a row.
Aze Martinez was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Justin Gomez, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Rancho Christian's record is now 20-3. As for Valley View, their record now sits at 20-2.
Wednesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Rancho Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .404. However, it's not like Valley View struggles in that department as they've averaged .377. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Rancho Christian's way against Valley View when the teams last played back in March, as Rancho Christian made off with an 11-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rancho Christian since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
