Baseball Recap: Ann Sobrato Has No Trouble Against Cupertino

Ann Sobrato owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Cupertino Pioneers. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Liam Bettencourt was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. That triple was his first of the season. Dylan Brown was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Ann Sobrato's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-6. As for Cupertino, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ann Sobrato will face off against Evergreen Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cupertino, they will challenge Saratoga at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
