Quincy proved they can win big on Friday (they won by six) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Loyalton Grizzlies, sneaking past 6-4. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won seven in a row.

The team relied heavily on Cooper Driscoll, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Nathan Schmid also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Quincy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Loyalton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Quincy has already played their next contest, an 11-0 victory against Modoc on the 24th. As for Loyalton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-6 win against Chester on the 24th.
