Baseball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln lost against Bravo last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Knights, falling 10-4. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alan Najera made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2. Lincoln is 2-1 when Najera posts two or more runs, but 1-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Bryant Guitron, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bravo, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 19-0 defeat against Marshall on the 9th. As for Bravo, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-4 loss against Vaughn on the 5th.
