In what's become a running theme this season, the Patterson Tigers gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They claimed a resounding 63-14 win over Central Valley at home. The win was familiar territory for Patterson who now have six in a row.
Siena Musson was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Kailani Ortiz was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Patterson's win bumped their record up to 22-1. As for Central Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.
Patterson won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Atwater at 7:15 p.m. on January 23rd. Atwater knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 20 games -- so hopefully Patterson likes a good challenge. As for Central Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Merced at 7:15 p.m. Merced presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Central Valley in California (Merced is ranked 426th, while Central Valley is ranked 1140th).
