The Liberty Bison struggled with assists on Monday (the Valley View Eagles had 18 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Liberty took a serious blow against Valley View, falling 58-12. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Liberty has scored all season.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Alex Barajas and
AJ Enguillado, who each put up four points.
Mason Long was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten assists for Valley View. That makes it six consecutive games in which Long has scored at least 25% of Valley View's points. Another player making a difference was Tiana Washington, who scored nine points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Liberty now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Valley View, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
