The Silverado Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They secured a 71-66 W over Rowland. The victory was just what Silverado needed coming off of a 78-41 defeat in their prior contest.
Elizabeth Udeze continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 29 points. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Silverado's points. Belinda Rincon was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Rowland's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Czarina Powell, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Tran, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds.
Silverado has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Rowland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.
