Harris County is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Arapahoe. The Tigers blew past the Warriors 19-0. That 19 run margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Caroline Gatewood made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in October of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Miller Daniel, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Harper Horton, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Harris County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in five consecutive matchups.

Harris County's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Arapahoe, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Harris County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-1 win against Chaparral on the 23rd. As for Arapahoe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Windsor on the 23rd.
