Ripon Christian extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 19-3. They put the hurt on the Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats with a sharp 13-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Trenton Cloward made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Cloward was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Jackson Howell was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Stadtler Postma, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Ripon Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since February 27th.
On Ben Holt College Prep Academy's side, Myles Harris was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Ripon Christian will take on Gustine at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, they will square off against River Islands at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
