The More Knights will take on the Lynbrook Vikings at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in More's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Lynbrook has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
More came out on top against KIPP San Jose Collegiate on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Knights blew past the Wolfpack 12-3. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.

Giles Corr
Giles Corr made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because More is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 8-12 otherwise. Corr was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
In other batting news, Sean Selway was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of More's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 8-12 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Andrew Corr, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
More kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Lynbrook hadn't done well against Fremont recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Vikings narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Firebirds 9-8. With that win, the Vikings brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Akira Gok was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Chao, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Lynbrook's victory bumped their record up to 11-15. As for More, the win got them back to even at 12-12.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. More has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Lynbrook struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
