As for Hayward, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-16. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 On Hayward's side, they got a  massive  performance out of  Jakye Smith, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs and two  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  Smith a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Liam Conley, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Lorenzo will welcome Arroyo  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Hayward, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Diablo  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Farmers are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on  an  eight-game losing streak.
