Fowler barely beat Fresno Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Redcats were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Eagles on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Redcats, who have now won 14 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Fowler has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Fresno Christian, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fowler will face off against Liberty at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Redcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fresno Christian, they will challenge Firebaugh at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Firebaugh will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
