Los Amigos' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophia Boyer, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Boyer is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Mandy Le was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five steals.
Los Amigos' victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Bolsa Grande, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
Los Amigos will head out on the road to face off against Santiago at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bolsa Grande, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against La Quinta at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully La Quinta focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Wednesday.
