Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rancho Christian). Everything went their way against the Vista del Lago Ravens on Tuesday as they made off with a 25-3 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.
Aj Garza and Cody Horner were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Garza pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Horner pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs but no hits. Garza has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. At the plate, Garza went 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Horner went 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI Garza has posted since back in March.
