After a string of nine wins, Village Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 40-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cathedral Catholic Dons.

Ada Fultz was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.
Village Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Cathedral Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-4.
Village Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-34 victory against Maranatha on the 28th. As for Cathedral Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-27 win against Academy of Our Lady of Peace on the 28th.
