The Frontier Titans will square off against the Liberty Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
Stockdale hit Frontier with a four-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Titans fell 10-5 to the Mustangs. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Ronnie Machado made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Frontier's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-2 (and 3-7-1 when he doesn't). Hunter Hansford also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty). Everything went their way against Independence on Friday as they made off with a 15-6 win. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Brogan Witcher was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Brody Berry, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Liberty always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive contests.
Liberty's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Frontier, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-1 record this season.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. Frontier hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Liberty struggles in that department as they've been averaging 1.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Frontier skirted past Liberty 6-5 when the teams last played back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
