Audrina Urwin was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Haley Cheshier was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emma Friedrich, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Bellevue East kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Columbus only managed three hits.
