Servite came out on top against Canyon on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Friars took their contest against the Comanches 6-1. The Friars haven't had any issues with the Comanches recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Servite's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Canyon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Coming up, Servite will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Foothill at 12:00 p.m. As for Canyon, they will head out to face off against Woodrow Wilson at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Bruins have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
