The Centennial Knights will face off against Drew Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Centennial barely beat Midtown the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Centennial blew past Midtown 12-2 on Thursday. Centennial not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 13th.
Diego Crespo looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Carlos Marquez was a standout: he scored three runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Jake Hickox, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Centennial always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Drew Charter). They put the hurt on Miller Grove with a sharp 30-1 victory on Thursday. The win was nothing new for Drew Charter as they're now sitting on four straight.
Ellis Grega made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Grega was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Drew Charter got a massive performance out of Joseph Richburg, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and five RBI. Drew Charter is undefeated when Richburg posts three or more RBI, but 4-5 otherwise. Kamden Bennett was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI.
Drew Charter's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Centennial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-13.
