The York County Tech Spartans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell to Annville-Cleona 43-37. York County Tech has not had much luck with Annville-Cleona recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
York County Tech's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Le'Icessess Harrison, who scored 11 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Harrison set a new season high mark in steals with six. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Foster, who scored eight points.
York County Tech bumped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Annville-Cleona, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
York County Tech won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hanover at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Annville-Cleona will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Octorara Area at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
