Millard North waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. Everything went their way against the Marian Crusaders as they made off with an 11-2 win. Considering the Mustangs have won 24 games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Abby Beard was incredible, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-2. That's the most home runs she has posted over her last 11 matchups. Another player making a difference was Macey Jarose, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Millard North always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marian only posted an OBP of .400.

Millard North's victory bumped their record up to 31-4. As for Marian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-17 record this season.

As of now, neither Millard North nor Marian have any future games scheduled.
