When it comes to explaining why Carson lost, one person who can't be blamed is Madison Wheeler. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points along with five steals. Faith Woodson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with 13 rebounds and four steals.
Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Aliso Niguel, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-12.
