Tyrone can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-40 victory over Juniata Valley. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Tyrone has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, Bellwood-Antis was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 51-46 to Clearfield.
Tyrone's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9. As for Bellwood-Antis, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
Tyrone took a serious blow against Bellwood-Antis when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 48-19. Can Tyrone avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
