The Colton Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season. They breezed by Rubidoux on the road to the tune of 46-12. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Colton.
Colton found their leader in underclassman Naomi Ontiveros, who scored seven points along with six blocks. Those six blocks set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Govea, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Colton pushed their record up to 9-5 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Rubidoux, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
