The Parkway West HOYAS waltzed into their matchup  on Monday with six straight wins  but they left with seven. They walked away with  a   42-29  victory over Franklin Learning Center. That's another feather in the cap for Parkway West, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Parkway West was led to victory by  Kemba Brown and  Nymira Bryant.  Brown  scored 15 points, while  Bryant  scored 18 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which  Bryant has scored at least a third of Parkway West's points.
 Franklin Learning Center's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Makiyah Brunson, who  scored 11 points, and  Janai Richardson who  scored ten points.
 Parkway West's win was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-4. As for Franklin Learning Center, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-4.
 Parkway West will head out on the road to  square off against  the  at 3:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy is coming into the  matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Franklin Learning Center, they will look to defend their home court  on Wednesday against the  at 3:15  p.m. Both teams have allowed few  points on average, (Mariana Bracetti Academy: 28, the Bobcats: 27) so any  points scored will be well earned.
