The result was an unpleasant reminder to Central Carolina Prep of the 66-58 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture last Thursday.
Despite the loss, Central Carolina Prep still got an impressive performance from CJ Miller, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Devondre Smith was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Central Carolina Prep has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-14 record this season. As for Varsity Opponent, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 315-1213-2.

As for Varsity Opponent, they will take on Hillcrest Prep at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
