The Bernstein Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Stern Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bernstein comes in on four and Stern on three.
Bernstein stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They really took it to Gertz-Ressler for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-20 win at home. The team accrued 42 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
Bernstein's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Odali Rivera led the charge by scoring 16 points. Rivera hasn't dropped below 15 points for four straight games. Gisele Lusk was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Stern had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against Central City Value by a score of 53-41 on Thursday.
Bernstein is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Stern, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4.
