For the second straight game, Redwood will face off against Tamalpais. The Giants will face off against the Red Tailed Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Redwood is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Redwood is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Tamalpais just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Tailed Hawks. Giants fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Red Tailed Hawks since on Tuesday.

For Tamalpais' part, Hank Ballard looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Ballard has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Will Gensler, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.
