Verdugo Hills won the last time they faced Grant and things went their way on Monday too. The Verdugo Hills Dons simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Grant Lancers 63-23. The Dons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.

Verdugo Hills' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nicole Olivera, who went 10 of 13 en route to 20 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave Olivera a new career-high in points. Amiyya Castanos was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten steals.

Verdugo Hills smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Verdugo Hills has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points per game. As for Grant, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.
