Westlake stacked  a  sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Calabasas Coyotes  a   14-0 shutout. Westlake's victory was all the more impressive since Calabasas was averaging only 4.08 runs allowed on the season.

Mason Charles came in to relieve  Volantis and was airtight, giving up no runs, hits or walks in his one  inning pitched.
 On the hitting side,  Noah Stead and  Kaden Youmans did most of the damage at the plate:  Stead  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI, while  Youmans  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.  Nate Johnson was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Westlake's win was  their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 10-1. As for Calabasas, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
 Westlake will have a chance to go back-to-back against Calabasas: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday.
