Rancho Cotate dropped their record down to 12-7 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell 7-3 to the Ukiah Wildcats. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Beebe also tossed no walks, which is notable because Ukiah is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 5-8 otherwise. Beebe was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Ivan Castro was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
While Rancho Cotate had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
