The Rio Vista Rams's game last Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 58-7 win over Buckingham Charter. For Rio Vista, this counts as revenge for the 37-33 defeat Buckingham Charter walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2018.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rio Vista to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samiah Holley , who dropped a triple-double on 19 points, 10 assists, and 11 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Holley has scored at least 25% of Rio Vista's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleigh Bloesch , who scored 18 points along with 3 steals.
The victory got Rio Vista back to even at 2-2. As for Buckingham Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rio Vista will challenge Winters at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Buckingham Charter is on the road again on December 12th and play against Vacaville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th.
