There's no place like home for Holyoke, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Peyton Panthers 49-14 on Friday. The Dragons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Elbin Padilla produced another solid effort picking up 75 receiving yards and two TDs.

Holyoke didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Colby Weber and Gustavo Goytia. Weber has been hot recently, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played.

The win got Holyoke back to even at 2-2. As for Peyton, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Holyoke will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wray at 1:00 p.m. on October 4. The Dragons will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Peyton, they have already played their next contest, a 32-6 win against Estes Park on the 26th.
