Given Berean Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 246th, while Las Lomas is ranked 734th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Berean Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jadee Salvador, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle Abigor, who scored 13 points.
Berean Christian's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Las Lomas, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-19.
Berean Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mt. Diablo at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Las Lomas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
