While losing is never fun, Aliquippa can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 167th, while Lincoln Park Performing Arts is ranked 28th).
It was another big night for Sarah Scott, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds for Lincoln Park Performing Arts. Scott has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times she's played. Maddie Syka was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven steals and five rebounds.
Aliquippa's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-3. As for Lincoln Park Performing Arts, their win bumped their record up to 20-2.
Aliquippa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln Park Performing Arts, they will be playing at home against Penn-Trafford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lincoln Park Performing Arts focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Monday.
