After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Delano brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They blew past the McFarland Cougars 16-6 on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won seven in a row.

Jonathan Basurto was incredible, getting on base in five of his seven plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Armando Nunez was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his seven plate appearances.

Delano's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for McFarland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6-1 record this season.
