Each year since 2006, MaxPreps has recognized outstanding performers in high school girls basketball. The tradition continues to close out the 2024-25 season by naming the top player in each state. Selections are based on team success and individual excellence in addition to local and state accolades.
For the season, Fields averaged 19.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game. In a 70-28 win over Bartlett in the title game, she contributed 14 points and seven rebounds as Bradley Central completed the three-peat and broke the record for the largest margin in a championship victory.

In the semifinals, Fields posted 27 points and 13 rebounds to lead Bradley Central to a 66-39 comeback win over Bearden (Knoxville).
She was named Class 4A tournament MVP.
Already holding more than 10 offers including Clemson, Mississippi State and Wake Forest, Fields was named Class 4A Miss Basketball earlier this week.
Each state's MaxPreps Player of the Year will be considered for inclusion in the MaxPreps All-America Team, which is scheduled to be released in April. Past selections include 2024 WNBA Most Valuable Player A'ja Wilson (2014) as well as 2024 All-WNBA first team picks Caitlin Clark (2020), Napheesa Collier (2015), Breanna Stewart (2012) and Alyssa Thomas (2010).
