The Madera South Stallions suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 47-19 loss at the hands of Fresno. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Madera South has scored all season.
Madera South lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being MICHELLE CORONA, who scored seven points. Another player making a difference was JALISSA KIRKPATRICK, who scored six points.
Madera South has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Fresno, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.
Madera South will look to defend their home court on Monday against Torres at 6:30 p.m. As for Fresno, they will head out on the road to challenge Roosevelt at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Roosevelt will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
