The Shade Panthers and the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Shade comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Tuesday, Shade came up short against Ferndale and fell 51-39.
Conemaugh Valley suffered their biggest defeat since January 3rd on Tuesday. Their tough 55-34 defeat to Conemaugh Township might stick with them for a while. Conemaugh Valley was down 51-24 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Shade's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-13. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.9 points per game. As for Conemaugh Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
Shade ended up a good deal behind Conemaugh Valley in their previous matchup last Thursday, losing 49-32. Can Shade avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
