Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Millard North). They never let the Omaha South Packers get on the board and left with a 20-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 19 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Millard North got a massive performance out of Reese Tate, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Tate a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mallory Closman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Millard North was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .739. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in six consecutive contests.

Millard North's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Omaha South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-9.

Millard North didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-4 victory against Papillion-LaVista South on the 26th. As for Omaha South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-0 loss against Millard South on the 29th.
