The Warner Wildcats waltzed into Wednesday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Ocean View Christian 45-26. For Warner, this counts as revenge for the 44-13 defeat Ocean View Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.
Despite the loss, Ocean View Christian still got an impressive performance from Carmen Palacios, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Palacios scored a full 53.8% of Ocean View Christian's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Monste Acosta, who scored 4 points along with 3 steals.
Warner's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Ocean View Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Warner will be playing at home against Monarch at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Ocean View Christian is on the road again on Friday and play against Foothills Christian at 5:30 p.m. on December 1st.
