Academy of Our Lady of Peace has struggled against Rancho Bernardo recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Pilots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jillian Nowicki, who scored 24 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals. The match was Nowicki's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Samantha Gehler, who scored 17 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
Academy of Our Lady of Peace's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Rancho Bernardo, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

As for Rancho Bernardo, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Rancho Buena Vista at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. Rancho Buena Vista will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 691st, while Rancho Bernardo is ranked 35th).
