Gene Sinkus and Joel Nunez certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Sinkus picked up 109 receiving yards and one score, while Nunez picked up 48 receiving yards and one touchdown. Sinkus showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 57 yards.
Logan Troup had an outrageously good game for Pine Grove as he rushed for 148 yards while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Troup has posted since back in September of 2024. Wyatt Snyder was in the mix as well, providing Pine Grove with two TDs.
Shenandoah Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Pine Grove, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
