The Liberty Bison entered their tilt with the Citrus Hill Hawks with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. Liberty strolled past Citrus Hill with  points to spare on Thursday, taking the game  52-34. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Liberty also won the last time the pair played  back in January.
  Alex Barajas was  her usual excellent self,  scoring 22 points along with nine  assists and seven  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  she  posted eight or more   assists.  Kelli Harris-Wellman was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with 12  rebounds and three  steals.
 Liberty pushed their record up to 7-6 with that  victory, which was their third straight  at home. As for Citrus Hill, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost six of their last seven matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
 Liberty will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Perris at 5:30  p.m.  on January 9, 2024. Citrus Hill will finish  2023 at home by hosting Citrus Valley at 1:30  p.m.  on Friday.
