Peach County has gone a perfect 3-0 against Monroe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Trojans will look to defend their home field against the Golden Tornadoes at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Peach County has ten straight victories, Monroe has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Wednesday, Peach County got the win against Swainsboro by a conclusive 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Evan Rush looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, Peach County got a massive performance out of Rigsby Booth, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that Booth has launched this season. Zach Veillon was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Peach County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in 11 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Monroe fell victim to Peach County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 17-0 to the Trojans.
Peach County's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Peach County has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Monroe struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 11.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Peach County's way against Monroe in their previous meeting on Tuesday, as Peach County made off with a 17-0 victory. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Tornadoes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
