The Durham Trojans posted their biggest win yet this season on Wednesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 55-18 victory over Paradise. With Durham ahead 30-9 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Durham to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karla Rangel, who scored 16 points. Clare Osbon was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Durham is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Paradise, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Durham will face off against East Nicolaus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully East Nicolaus focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Wednesday. Paradise's road trip will continue as they head out to face Colusa at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Colusa is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last ten games.
