Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, La.) at Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.)
Saturday, 7 p.m. Eastern timeWhat to watch: Archbishop Rummel leaves Louisiana for the second-consecutive week – this time to take on 14-time New Jersey champion Don Bosco Prep on Saturday night.
No. 14 Rummel was a 27-16 victor at Mississippi power Wayne County (Waynesboro) in its first game ever outside the Pelican State last Friday. Senior quarterback
Chase Fourcade threw for three scores as the Raiders (3-0) avoided an upset despite being outgained 302-193.
Don Bosco Prep had a pair of decisive wins against out-of-state powers following its season-opening loss to state-ranked St. Joseph Regional (Montvale). The Ironmen blew out St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia) on Sept. 12 and handled Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati) on its home field last Friday.
Names to watch: Rummel's defense features two of top 20 prospects in Louisiana, according to 247Sports. Four-star cornerback
Kristian Fulton is ranked third and four-star defensive tackle
Briston Guidry (Arkansas) checks in at No. 17.
Malik Bakker hasn't made a big impact in the recruiting rankings, but the senior running back was Don Bosco Prep's standout the last two weeks. Bakker ran for 135 first-half yards against St. Joseph's Prep and finished with 184 yards and two touchdowns versus Moeller.
